Let the rain kiss you.
Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.
Let the rain sing you a lullaby.
– Langston Hughes (1902-1967)
I took my walk today in the rain, to test my new boots and my slicker. The boots were great; the slicker, too much condensation inside. Had the temps been low, I would have been very cold!
This was the first set of pictures I took on the walk. I wanted to see if the iPhone camera could “see” the rain drops. In this photo, miraculously it did, and the autofocus worked properly. My maple leaves were unfocused; the camera zeroed in on the trunk. This experience will teach me to be more careful when I touch the screen to tell it where to focus.
