Guilty Of Failure To Stop At Stop Line Marking

From the Washington State Driver’s Guide (pdf):

When required to stop because of a sign or signal, you must stop before your vehicle reaches the stop line or crosswalk, if there is one.

This behavior drives me batty.

At this intersection (we were stopped at the traffic light, facing south, 220th St SW at 66th Ave W) both the vehicle to my left and I are in left-hand turn lanes. Not only has this vehicle encroached on the crosswalk, it has crossed the stop line, which is located prior to the crosswalk to provide needed space for left-turning vehicles (travelling east and turning north). Folks do it Every Day. But normally I’m not stopped beside them and think to snap a picture.
